Chipinge Teenage Girl Survives Crocodile Attack, Loses Foot Heel
In a harrowing incident along the Budzi River, 13-year-old Finance Chaitamwari from Makumba Village under Chief Mapungwana in Chipinge narrowly escaped a crocodile attack that resulted in a severe foot injury. The terrifying encounter took place on Sunday morning while Finance was busy doing laundry near the riverbank.
According to local reports and the account given by Finance, the crocodile suddenly lunged out of the water and clamped its powerful jaws around her foot, causing extensive damage. The attack left Finance in excruciating pain and facing the grim possibility of having her foot amputated due to the severity of the injuries sustained.
