Harare, Zimbabwe — THE managing director of financial advisory firm Bard Santner Senziwani Sikosana is in the eye of a storm following allegations that his shady past is trailing him and is alleged to be involved in tax evasion through one of his investment vehicles, this publication can authoritatively reveal.
Sikhosana is one of the key players in bringing Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote in a US$1 billion investment deal across several economic sectors.
His investment vehicle Senzpack is implicated in the tax evasion storm dating back to 2018 and it has put him on edge.
“The he stakes are high and if Dankote Industries, his biggest client loses faith in him, it could be catastrophic for his reputation and business,”said an industry source.
“Dankote relied on his (Sikhosana)’s expertise to navigate Zimbabwe’s complex investment landscape, but t the tax evasion storm wasn’t the only thing on his plate.
“He was also locked in a bitter $300 000 dispute with his former business partner over a townhouse settlement, added our sources.
He also revealed that the fallout has been messy and spilled to the courts.
Despite the chaos, Sikhosana was recently pushing ahead with plans to expand into the South African market with Bard Santner.
One of our multiple sources opined that the expansion is a clever move to diversify, or a desperate attempt to mask alleged shady deals back in Harare.
As the investigation closed in, Sikhosana could not be reached for comment at the time of publication and a physical visit to his office established that he was out of the capital city and not in office on personal business.
