Following a miscommunication over the rent for their shared flat, a woman from HARARE collaborated with a friend to assault her mother with a knife.
The occurrence took place on Monday.
Rhoda Mafemba, the mother of Mavhu Kaseke, 22, and her companion Fezubuhle Zulu, 23, were attacked.
Her offense?
Zulu had been asked to pay her rent.
Zulu reportedly grew enraged at the moment because he was intoxicated.
She attacked Mafemba while supporting herself on crutches.
Mavhu joined in and pulled her mother’s dreadlocks as she assaulted her.
When her mother kept requesting money from her acquaintance, Mavhu threatened to attack her with a knife.
The two women appeared before Harare magistrate Minel Narotam and pleaded guilty to the offence.
