Dingo Dinkelman Dies After Allergic Reaction to Snake Venom

South African YouTuber Graham “Dingo” Dinkelman has died at the age of 44, one month after being placed in an induced coma following a snake bite, according to IOL.

Dinkelman, known for his engaging videos featuring crocodiles, snakes, and other African wildlife, passed away on Saturday after a month in the ICU. His wife, Kirsty Dinkelman, shared that he was bitten by a green mamba at their home in September, which led to his serious condition. Tragically, he suffered anaphylactic shock due to an allergy to the snake venom.

While Dinkelman was celebrated for his work with reptiles, he also had a deep affection for all animals, particularly African mammals like elephants, rhinos, and lions, as well as a giraffe named Elliot. His family noted that his love for them fueled his purpose and passion.

Kirsty described him as a captivating individual, fearless in his conservation efforts, and always brimming with enthusiasm. She highlighted the strong bond he had with his family, stating that Dingo’s father, who passed away a year ago, was a significant influence on his love for nature. Growing up, Dinkelman explored nature reserves and rehabilitated wildlife during holidays.

Dingo was a devoted father to his three children: Taylor, 14, Maddy, 12, and Rex, 9. He often expressed his love and pride for his family.
