Harare, Zimbabwe – Fastjet Zimbabwe, the award-winning budget airline, has revealed the launch of discounted student fares for its newly established route connecting Harare to Lusaka.
This initiative, announced via the airline’s social media platforms, aims to support students pursuing primary, secondary, and tertiary education in both Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Nunurai Ndawana, a spokesperson for Fastjet Zimbabwe, stated, “This is one of our ways of giving back to the community. We have always had student fares on our Harare to Bulawayo route, and we have now extended this offering to the Harare to Lusaka route. We hope these discounted fares will go a long way in making a difference in the lives of our future generation.”
The special fares are accessible to students enrolled in primary schools, high schools, and universities. Given the significant number of students from both countries studying across borders, this offer is expected to be a welcome development.
Students can access these discounted fares at Fastjet travel shops and airport ticket outlets in Bulawayo, Harare, and Lusaka.
This announcement follows Fastjet’s recent recognition by the global airline rating agency, SkyTrax, which named it among the top 10 leading airlines in Africa and the third-best value-based airline on the continent.
