A FORM 4 student was gang raped by three men at the Tilco Industrial site in Chitungwiza on Thursday last week. The 17-year-old student had visited a nearby tuckshop to buy airtime at around 7pm.
On her way back, she met two men who demanded her Huawei 9 Prime cellphone and she gave it to them. Then, an unregistered black Honda Fit, with one occupant, arrived. One of the men grabbed and shoved the student into the car and threatened to kill her if ever she pleaded for help and they drove away.
When they reached a bushy area at the Tilcor Industrial site, the driver stopped the car, dragged the student out and they took turns to rape her without protection. Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the case.
