Domboshava, Zimbabwe | In a new twist to the saga surrounding the estate of the late socialite Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure, his sister Nelia has been summoned to the Chief’s Court concerning an unresolved financial dispute over the land on which Ginimbi’s Domboshawa mansion stands.
The dispute revolves around an alleged outstanding payment for the property, which was reportedly purchased by Ginimbi from his relatives.
According to sources, Ginimbi bought the land for US$13,000. However, the relatives are now claiming that Nelia, who is the current custodian of the property following Ginimbi’s death, owes an additional US$9,000.
This claim has led them to pursue legal action in the Chief’s Court in a bid to recover the alleged outstanding balance.
Nelia was notably absent from the court session, citing health issues as the reason for her non-attendance. Her absence has sparked considerable public interest, with many closely following the developments given Ginimbi’s high-profile status and the ongoing legal intricacies surrounding his estate.
The situation has added another layer of complexity to the handling of Ginimbi’s estate, which has been the subject of various legal and financial disputes since his tragic passing.
As the case progresses, it remains to be seen how the court will address the claims made by the relatives and what impact this will have on Nelia and the broader estate management.
Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
