A nurse has ended her marriage after her husband decided to marry a second wife. Miriam Chiramu informed her husband, Joseph Munguni, a geologist, that their marriage was over when he chose to marry his mistress.
Following this, Miriam went to court seeking maintenance.
She expressed her heartbreak, saying, “What pains me the most is that during our tough times, this man was faithful, and we worked hard together to provide the best for our children.
Now, he has decided to marry a second wife. Your worship, two weeks ago, he told me about his intentions after I discovered messages between him and his girlfriend discussing plans to give her the car he had bought for me.

I was shocked because I loved this man when he had nothing, and now he is doing this to me.
When I confronted him, he admitted that he wants to marry a second wife. I have always treated him with respect, cared for him, and gave him children. I have decided to end this marriage so he can freely be with his girlfriend until the divorce is finalized.”
Munguni responded, saying, “I still love her, but it is true that I want a second wife. She doesn’t understand that even my father had four wives.
I will take care of my family, and I am willing to provide whatever amount of money she needs. I am a family man, and I cannot leave my house to live elsewhere.
I always want my children to be close to me.”
