Self-proclaimed prophet Talent Madungwe, known as the “heavenly commander,” has admitted to charges of negligent driving and driving without a valid driver’s license.
He appeared before Magistrate Tafadzwa Miti in Epworth, where his case was postponed until Monday for a pre-sentencing hearing and sentencing.
The incident involved Rutendo Kwinjo, who was driving a Nissan NP300. According to prosecutor Rutendo Nyamutswa, on August 6 at around 10 AM, Madungwe left his home on Airport Road and collided with Kwinjo’s vehicle while turning onto the main road. Kwinjo’s car sustained minor damage.

On the day of the accident, Madungwe was driving without a license. He initially appeared in court on Wednesday and was released on bail until yesterday, as the State planned to amend the legal documents before proceeding with the case.
Notably, Madungwe was among those who received a Toyota Aqua donation from Wicknell Chivayo and had reportedly acquired a driver’s license prior to receiving the vehicle.
