Herentals Queens have once again stamped their authority on the domestic women’s game — locking in their fourth league title in a row after beating Cranborne Royals 2–0 at 2 Brigade yesterday.
The Lady Students have now turned consistency into a dynasty, with coach Simbarashe Deedza masterminding yet another campaign that kept them miles ahead of the pack.
Clinical forward Natasha Benza opened the scoring, notching her 14th strike of the season before the break, while Praynance Zwawanda put the contest beyond doubt early in the second half.
A composed and professional performance — and the trophy never looked like leaving Herentals hands.
Deedza said the mission from day one was simple — defend the crown — and his squad delivered.
“We knew the league had become tougher, but our players showed mental strength from week to week. This was earned,” he said.
Herentals have bulldozed their way to the summit with 23 victories, two draws and just two defeats — sitting on 71 points and still not done.
With Platinum Royals and Black Rhinos Queens still to play, Herentals can even polish their title defence with extra glamour if they close the season with maximum points in the final fixtures.

The Lady Students have set the standard yet again — and right now, no one looks close to stopping them.
