Zimdancehall artist Hwindi President was involved in a vehicle accident while traveling back to Harare from the Lake October event in Masvingo early Sunday morning, October 13, 2024.
The crash occurred as Hwindi President and his team were making their way home following a performance that featured a lineup of popular artists, including Winky D, Gemma Griffiths, Mbeu, and Mr. Candy. The musician energized the audience with his hit songs, entertaining the Masvingo crowd before departing in the early hours of the morning.

Details about the cause of the accident remain unclear. Images circulating on social media show Hwindi President and his passengers seated on the grass beside the road, just a few meters from their damaged vehicle. The black car appeared to have significant damage on the right side, including a shattered windscreen.
