The Université Paris-Saclay offers IDEX scholarships to assist international students in pursuing their master’s programs.
These scholarships aim to support high-achieving international students, especially those interested in research opportunities that could extend to doctoral studies.

- École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay (ENS Paris-Saclay)

- Institut d’Optique Graduate School (IOGS)
- Université d’Évry-Val-d’Essonne (UEVE)
- Université Paris-Saclay (UPSaclay)
- Université de Versailles-Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ)
Eligible Programs: All master’s programs accredited by Université Paris-Saclay, excluding vocational training courses.
Scholarship Benefits:
- A yearly financial award of €10,000, distributed over 10 months (from September to June).
- Additional financial assistance up to €1,000 for travel and visa-related expenses, depending on the applicant’s country of residence.
- The scholarship is valid for one or two years, depending on whether the student is admitted to the M1 or M2 level, and can be renewed based on satisfactory academic progress.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must:
- Be international students who have been accepted into a master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay or one of its affiliated institutions.
- Be 30 years old or younger in the year of selection.
- Be foreign nationals who have been residing in France for less than a year, and are enrolled in non-degree programs such as internships or language courses.
- Be students who have participated in an academic exchange or mobility program in France that did not result in earning a degree.
Ineligible Applicants:
- Those already enrolled in a French higher education institution, unless attending a French university abroad.
- Individuals who have taken a study break of more than three consecutive years.
- Students already receiving scholarships exceeding €650 per month.
Application Process:
- Admission to a master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay is required before applying for the scholarship.
- Only selected candidates will be invited via email with a link to the online application portal. Unsolicited applications will not be accepted.
- Deadlines:
- Master’s program application: May 5, 2025
- Scholarship application submission: May 12, 2025
