Infant Dies After Falling into Hot Water Bucket in Kambuzuma

A 6-month-old baby girl has tragically passed away after falling into a bucket of hot water in Kambuzuma, Harare, on Friday, November 15. The baby succumbed to her injuries shortly after being rushed to a local hospital.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the heartbreaking incident in a statement on their official social media account, detailing the sequence of events. The baby reportedly fell into a 20-litre bucket filled with hot water at a home in Kambuzuma 5.

It is understood that the child’s mother had left the bucket near a couch where the baby was seated at the time of the accident. However, the ZRP has not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
