Jimmy Dzingai Former Caps United Player Recorded A Rhumba Song Begging A Car From Sir Wicknell

Professional footballer Jimmy Dzingai has caused a stir online with the release of a lively rhumba song dedicated to flamboyant businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

In a surprising turn of events, Dzingai, currently plying his trade as a defender for Bangladesh Premier League club Muktijoddha Sangsad, showcased his musical prowess in a recent video.

In the video, Dzingai exhibits impressive vocal skills, seamlessly adopting the rhythm and flair reminiscent of Congolese rhumba artists. The song itself is a light-hearted plea to Chivayo for a car, amidst the businessman’s recent trend of gifting vehicles and cash to various Zimbabweans.

Beginning with effusive praise for Chivayo, affectionately referred to as “Mbinga yeZimbabwe” (Zimbabwe’s tycoon), the former CAPS United and Yadah Stars FC player humorously requests a vehicle, specifically expressing a desire for a Mercedes Benz or BMW.

Jimmy Dzingai then draws attention to other celebrities who have benefited from Chivayo’s generosity, playfully questioning why he shouldn’t also receive a similar gift.

Following the video’s release, Zimbabweans took to social media to share their reactions. While some criticized Dzingai for what they perceived as a lack of originality and dignity in his appeal, others found amusement in the situation, acknowledging the song’s catchy tune despite the unconventional nature of the request.
