Kanye West faces allegations of drugging and sexually assaulting his former assistant during a recording session for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
The 47-year-old rapper, already embroiled in multiple lawsuits from former employees following his controversial remarks, is accused by Lauren Pisciotta of having spiked her drink with an unidentified substance, according to recent court documents filed by the model.
Pisciotta claims that during a music session in Santa Monica, California, West ordered a drink for her, after which she began to feel disoriented after just a few sips. She reported feeling a loss of control over her body and speech.
The following morning, she experienced severe illness and “immense shame,” but had little recollection of the previous night’s events.
Earlier this year, Pisciotta sued West for sexual harassment and wrongful termination. In her latest complaint, filed on October 8 in the Los Angeles Superior Court, she details the alleged drugging and assault, stating that she only fully understood what had transpired that night much later.
According to the complaint, West eventually admitted to having “kind of hooked up a little one time” with Pisciotta, referring to the night she claims she was drugged.
At the time of the alleged incident, West was still married to Kim Kardashian. Although she is not named in the lawsuit, Pisciotta claims that Kardashian accused West of infidelity, prompting his confession regarding the studio incident.
In her filing, Pisciotta stated, “Until that conversation and the subsequent revelations about the events of that night, I had no idea or reason to believe I had been sexually assaulted. I thought I had simply been drugged by a studio assistant, embarrassed myself, and taken the blame.”
