CONGOLESE rhumba maestro, Koffi Olomide, took time to do some shopping in the Sunshine City yesterday.
He arrived in Harare around lunch time along with his star-studded band.
Koffi was welcomed at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by entrepreneur and influencer, Zodwa Mkandla.
He was taken around the Harare Central Business District on a shopping spree.
Rhumba fans jostled to catch a glimpse of Koffi, who was accompanied by two beefy bouncers, who were in designer suits. Koffi made a stopover at Jan Jam clothing shop, along George Silundika Avenue, where proprietor, Cynthia Bizure, had a torrid time to control onlookers.
He spent quite some time in the shop and only left around sunset.
Show organiser, Tich Mharadze, escorted Koffi as he left the shop.
He also took a walk along George Silundika Avenue and briefly stopped at a nearby clothing shop interacting with fans.
Tomorrow, Koffi is billed to share the stage with South African pop duo, Mafikizolo, in Kadoma.
Last year, Kadoma Odyssey Hotel hosted the Kadoma Music Festival, which was headlined by South African songstress, Makhadzi.
