Musician Darlington Mutseta, better known as Mambo Dhuterere, has unveiled his latest album titled Kudenga kuna Manuwere.
The album includes four tracks: “Ndiye Manuwero,” “Sunungura neZodzo,” “Kudenga kuna Manuwero,” and “Zororai.”
In an interview with NewZimbabwe.com, Mambo Dhuterere discussed his collaborations with comedian Frets Donzvo and Repent Kutyauripo, who contributed to the songs “Kudenga kuna Manuwere” and “Zororai.” Dhuterere explained that the Holy Spirit guided him to work with the two artists, noting their talents and potential in music. He also emphasized that Frets Donzvo, though well known as an actor, is more of a musician at heart.
The music videos for “Kudenga kuna Manuwere” and “Sunungura neZodzo,” both sponsored by Diaspora Insurance, were released on Monday. Within 20 hours, the videos attracted an impressive 175,000 views. Dhuterere expressed his gratitude for the sponsorship, stating it made the production process much smoother and allowed them to cover all the necessary costs.
He also shared that the inspiration behind the album was to connect with listeners on a deeper spiritual level, with a focus on Jesus as the central theme. Dhuterere explained that the purpose of the album is to address and heal the inner self, aligning with his calling from God. He emphasized that when speaking of heaven, it’s essential to acknowledge Manuwero, the true owner of everything.
