Authorities have made significant progress in their investigation into the troubling incidents of grave vandalism at Warren Hills Cemetery.
Gilbert Mukandatsamba, 34, was allegedly captured last week by Taengwa Mataukwa, a security guard, vandalizing Mavis Mukandara’s grave.
The State claims that Mukandatsamba fled into hiding after the cases received a lot of media attention and that he is linked to the April 15 demolition of 83 graves.
Mukandatsamba is set to return to court today to have his bail considered after making an appearance in court over the weekend on allegations of serious vandalism. The anticipated cost of the vandalism-related damage is $45,000 USD. Warren Hills Cemetery
