Masvingo Dealer Found With 5 Lion Heads!

MASVINGO | It was discovered that a dealer had five lion heads valued at $100,000.

When Patson Ndlovu came before magistrate Ruth Moyo yesterday, he was not required to enter a plea.

$200 in bail was used to free him.

The police’s Flora and Fauna unit got a tip, the court was told, that Ndlovu and his associates were in possession of five lion heads and were seeking customers.

After following him to the Avenues neighbourhood of Harare, they witnessed him and his cronies packing the loot onto a truck.

After failing to show the authorization that would have allowed him to possess the trophies, they pounced, but Ndlovu’s three companions ran away, and he was detained.

The State was represented by Nomsa Kangara and Mandirasa Chigumira.
