Three individuals, Trinity, Benito, and Mashelly, have been arrested in connection with the fatal assault of Mlamuleli Mangena, who was killed in a violent dispute over a woman in Coleen Bawn, Matabeleland South.
The altercation occurred at Forest H60 Mine on October 3, 2024, when six assailants attacked Mangena with a sharp object following an argument about a girlfriend.
Unfortunately, Mangena was not the only victim. Tinashe Chirenje, 30, was also brutally attacked with a machete and axe during the same incident. He’s currently receiving medical care at a nearby hospital, but his condition remains critical.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has launched a manhunt for the three remaining suspects and urges anyone with information to come forward. If you have details about the suspects, you should report to the nearest police station to aid the ongoing investigation .
