Peter Dube, a fugitive and murder suspect, has been extradited back to Zimbabwe from Mozambique after being deported there by Irish officials. Initially, Dube claimed to be a Mozambican national named Armando Quenete Muchanga. However, subsequent investigations revealed his true identity.
Dube is accused of committing a heinous crime in Gweru in 2021, where he allegedly murdered two individuals and inflicted injuries on others. Following the incident, he fled to Namibia and later sought refuge in Ireland. However, his attempt to evade justice was short-lived as Interpol apprehended him in Ireland.
Despite his efforts to deceive authorities by providing false information about his nationality, Dube’s true identity was eventually uncovered. Irish officials deported him to Mozambique, whereupon further investigations confirmed his connection to the crimes committed in Zimbabwe.
