Many men may feel insecure about their genital size and look for ways to enhance it, which can unfortunately lead them to exploitative and unqualified practitioners.
This sensitive area requires skilled professionals in a proper medical setting. However, a man in Thailand has been exposed after 20 years of performing such procedures without any formal training, armed only with a Grade 9 education.
Kittikorn Songsri, a 36-year-old from Samut Sakhon, was apprehended during a police sting operation at a townhouse where he conducted various penile augmentation procedures. Local reports indicate that Songsri admitted to advertising his services on social media and claimed to treat two or three patients monthly despite lacking any medical qualifications.
He stated that he had learned to perform silicone implants at the age of 14 and had continued this practice for years. His operations came to light after a dissatisfied patient, suffering from a severe infection caused by a silicone procedure, reported him to the authorities.
During questioning, Songsri revealed that he charged between 5,000 baht (approximately R2,582) and 20,000 baht (about R10,328) per surgery. He faces serious allegations for running an illegal medical practice and providing medical services without a proper license.
