Permanent Secretary Dies in Tragic Accident

Harare, Zimbabwe – The Ministry of Veterans of the Liberation Struggle Affairs has been plunged into mourning following the untimely death of its Permanent Secretary, Clive Mphambela.

Mphambela succumbed to injuries sustained in a road accident that occurred while he was on duty in Chivhu.

The tragic incident happened on the eve of his 51st birthday, a stark reminder of the fragility of life.

Mphambela, a seasoned professional with a background in journalism and banking, was widely respected for his dedication and contributions to the ministry.

Minister Monica Mavhunga described the late permanent secretary as a hardworking and instrumental figure in the ministry’s development. Mphambela played a pivotal role in crafting the ministry’s strategic plan and establishing its operational framework.

Funeral arrangements for the departed public servant are yet to be announced.

Before his appointment to the Ministry of Veterans of the Liberation Struggle Affairs, Mphambela served as the chief director of communications in the Ministry of Finance, Economic Development, and Investment Promotion.
