Geo Pomona Waste Management Pvt Ltd have been commended by President Emmerson Mnangagwa for their innovative efforts in turning garbage into valuable resources.
President Mnangagwa commended Dr. Dilesh Nguwaya, the firm’s founder and chief executive officer, for the innovative job the company has done in using waste to produce electricity during a visit of the company’s facilities at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF).

Dr. Nguwaya assured President Mnangagwa that Geo Pomona and Waste Management have assembled a team of experts to drive the electricity generation process.
“We have hired specialists in all aspects of electricity generation, ensuring that we have the right people for the task,” Dr. Nguwaya explained.
