President Mnangagwa’s Investment Push Gains Traction with Global Companies at ZAS

Several international companies are showcasing their offerings at the ongoing Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) event, with some expressing interest in establishing a presence in Zimbabwe.

Their participation reflects President Mnangagwa’s “Zimbabwe is open for business” initiative, which aims to attract investors to the country.

One such company, Musavir from Pakistan, is taking part in the exhibition. Junaid Sabri, the company’s Director of Research and Development, indicated that they are looking to expand their operations into Zimbabwe.

“This isn’t my first visit to Zimbabwe; I was here in 2022 as well,” Sabri noted. “Our company, which has been in the paint business since 1992, is eager to grow in Zimbabwe.”

He added, “We are considering setting up a warehouse in Harare by the end of the year, and we also plan to open a shop in downtown Harare.”

Sabri expressed enthusiasm about Zimbabwe, praising the local business community’s hospitality, culture, and peaceful environment.
