In a bizarre turn of events, the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service employee Kwandokuhle Ndethi who is accused of stealing went on a rampage inside the New Government Complex.
He pilfered hardware for computers.
Kwandokuhle Ndethi, accused with eight charges of unauthorised entrance, made an appearance in court over the weekend.
The Attorney General’s office was broken into on March 27, and two HP printers and an HP monitor were taken by Ndethi, according to testimony given in court, On April 1, he broke into the offices of the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education and took an HP printer.

On April 3, he struck again in the same department, taking three HP computers with him.
On April 2, Ndethi then gained entry to the Finance Ministry’s procurement division and took an HP PC and printer.
In January, he pilfered from the same section and fled with a power bank, a 55-inch television, and six printers.
Last week, he ran out of luck and was discovered stealing. He guided the authorities in recovering a portion of the apparatus.
