Harare | Harare Self proclaimed Prophet ‘Makandiwa’ has come under fire after pulling a Madungwe kind of statement that has burnt through the social streets.
Prophet Makandiwa is not knew to pulling stunts like this one as he earlier did when he said that “if you get to Heaven and not see him there, that means you are not in heaven”.
Makandiwa then went on to say that he has done so much good that he has secured his seat in heaven and nothing would deter that.
This time the United Church International Church (UFIC) leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa caused an uproar on social media after sharing what people considered “blasphemous”.
Prophet Makandiwa shared a teaching on his social media handle for his congregants while teaching some of his pastors.
In a trending video circulating today, the UFIC leader’s utterances sparked controversy raising the ire of some social media users.
Prophet Makandiwa said:
“I am more gifted than God. Yes. And God knows that.”

“Problem is people took a clip of 22 seconds over a sermon more than an hour long. He is saying God is not gifted …he is far above that because he is the giver of gifts. If he was gifted, it means someone had to give it to him..so wats the fuss abt. Is it not true? God is supreme.

“He’s technically right in my understanding, though. Gifted is not a word that can be applicable to God (the giver of all gifts). So basically, all of us are given more than the giver, which makes his statement moot, only good for raising controversy.”
