In a well seen BBC programme, Ajoke, a woman claiming to be the late Prophet TB Joshua’s daughter, talked.
Ajoke, who is now 28 years old, said in the investigative documentary that she had a bad experience at the Synagogue Church of All Nations.
Ajoke was born out of wedlock, according to the BBC documentary, which also claimed that the late prophet engaged in a number of improper behaviours. The allegations were supported by the testimonials of former employees.
Ajoke said that she addressed her father after observing his mistreatment of others.
Later, she would experience loneliness as a result of being shunned.
She claimed to have observed her father’s fear that his acts may at some point be made public.
Ajoke said that the late pastor never showed her any parental affection and that her father coerced her into becoming a disciple in order to ruin her life.
She claimed that it seemed strange to watch the clergyman speak on love and mercy every Sunday and that it was tough.
It is impossible to describe that type of suffering. I have the impression that I may not truly deserve to live. We are discussing abuse that has been occurring for years on end, abuse that is persistent,” she remarked.
The followers joined him in mistreating her because they had been “brainwashed,” acting like zombies in response to directions.
