Amen “Mr Billionaire” Chifamba, a South African-based Afro pop singer, has praised Prophet Walter Magaya for providing him with a platform to showcase his talent.
Mr Billionaire says he doesn’t regret the moments he had at the PHD Choir.
Although he has branched to Amapiano, he says Magaya handed him the exposure.
He is now enjoying rave reviews with his latest single featuring South Africa diva, Zameka. In an interview with H-Metro, Mr Billionaire believes he is on the right track.
“I thank my prophet once again, Prophet W Magaya, for giving me an opportunity to sing on his Yadah TV.
“To be honest, I am now known because of Yadah TV, I really appreciate it.
“We have just released a song that I collaborated with a South African Amapiano artist called Zameka.
“The song is called Unako.
“It simply advises people to go and work for their families because you reap what you sow,” said Mr Billionaire.
Outlining his vision, the man who was brought up in a small village in Mhondoro, believes he will redeem a lot of lost souls.
“I would like to support upcoming musicians to record their own music and help them to pursue their dreams as well as buying music instruments for churches around the world.
“I don’t believe in selling my music to make a living but I give my music free to those who need it. The God will bless me through other areas of my business. The word of God is my source of inspiration.”
Like most gospel artists, Mr Billionaire got the platform to sing at a tender age in church.
“I started singing in front of many people when I was five years old, since my father was a leader of a very big Church in those days.”
With two albums, and three singles, Mr Billionaire remains optimistic he will make it. “The major challenge that I am facing is I feel time is not on my side, I wish I had power to control time.
“My music is available on all platforms.”
