The incident leading to the abandonment occurred during the match on September 15, with just eight minutes left on the clock.

Match commissioner Kanzvimbo Kanzvimbo reported that there were incidents of unruly behavior from Karoi United supporters starting from the moment Scottland arrived at Chikangwe Stadium.

Reports indicate that fans hurled empty beverage bottles and made threats against officials if their team was unsuccessful.

Kanzvimbo detailed that the situation escalated, with missiles thrown at Scottland’s technical bench, prompting police intervention.
