On Sunday, two teenagers were arrested in connection with the murder of a 33-year-old man from Hopley following a dispute involving a young woman.
Rivaldo Siamutheni, 17, and Wesley Mutshimba, 16, both from Hopley Zone 6, were taken into custody for allegedly killing Nelson Chiripanyanga.
The conflict involved Gillian Mutsani, a 19-year-old woman. Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the incident.
“Police have arrested two individuals in relation to a murder case in Hopley,” said Inspector Chakanza.

“The situation unfolded when the deceased and the suspects, who were strangers to each other, had a disagreement over a girl.
“The victim, along with two friends, was drinking at Nhando shops in Hopley, Harare, when an argument broke out.
“The suspects reportedly attacked the victim with a sharp object on his right abdomen, causing him to collapse.
“The suspects then fled the scene.
“The victim was taken to Sally Mugabe Central Hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
“His body has been moved to the hospital’s mortuary for a post-mortem examination,” added Inspector Chakanza.
