Tendai Mukosa Arrested For Assaulting Colleague with Screwdriver

Tendai Mukosa(22) from Glen Norah appeared in court over the weekend for allegedly stabbing a collegue three times with a screwdriver on the chest after he insulted him using obscene language.

Tendai Mukosa(22) appeared before Harare regional magistrate Mr Donald Ndirowei charged with attempted murder. He was remanded in custody to April 19. He was advised to apply for bail at the High Court.

The State alleged that on Friday at around 5pm Mukosa had a misunderstanding with the complainant as alleged that he had insulted him using vulgar language.

Out of anger Mukosa allegedly took a screw driver and stabbed the complainant four times on the upper right side. He sustained a deep cut and bled profusely.

Meanwhile, a 26-year-old man Tyson Rusike appeared before the same magistrate charged with rape. The State alleged that from June 2023 to date Rusike was having forced anal s*xual intercourse with her under aged wife who is aged 15.

The matter came to light on April 3 when the complainant was assaulted by Rusike for refusing to have anal s*xual intercourse with him. He was remanded in custody to April 19.

In another story, Titus Bhunga (77) From Sadza Village Arrested For Assaulting Son With Axe. Police in Mashonaland East Province have arrested Titus Bhunga (77) for allegedly assaulting his son Washington (36) with an axe following a misunderstanding.

It is reported that the misunderstanding arose when Titus Bhunga bought beer for Washington’s wife Netsai Kanerutsine. This did not go down well with Washington who quizzed his father over the issue.
