Three Telone Students Nabbed For Leaking Exam Papers
Three TelOne Centre of Learning students have been charged with sharing test papers.
Elton James (23), Kudzai Shepherd Chumutsa (23) and Bradley Mangombe (23) appeared before Harare Magistrate Dennis Mangosi, who granted them bail of US$50 apiece.
According to the allegations, the TelOne Centre of Learning, represented by Josephine Muzhangiri, got information last Friday that the test papers being written at the school had leaked.
Muzhangiri began conducting internal investigations, which showed that Part 1.1 pupils Nicolet Rukasha and Princess Gunduza were seen with leaked HEXCO Engineering Mathematics Paper 1.
The exam had been written the previous day at the Institution.
They were questioned and they revealed that they bought the leaked examination paper from Mangombe and Chimutsa.
Mangombe was approached and he led Muzhangiri to Chimutsa who revealed that he got the paper from Elton James, leading to their arrest.
