A Toyota Hiace minibus traveling to Harare reportedly suffered a brake failure and crashed into a tree at the 52-kilometer mark on the Mazowe-Centenary road yesterday.
The accident resulted in injuries to eleven passengers, with one person sustaining severe injuries. This critically injured individual was swiftly airlifted from Mvurwi Hospital to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for immediate medical attention.

According to police reports, the driver, Charlse Nyamharadzi, 33, lost control while navigating a curve due to the brake failure, leading to the crash.
Eyewitnesses recounted the chaotic scene as emergency services arrived to help the victims. Authorities are now investigating the incident, focusing on vehicle maintenance and road safety measures.
