Khayah Cement is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Officer in the Dry Mortar Operations Department. We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality products and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all Quality Control activities to ensure day-to-day adherence to required product quality specifications.
- Control product quality and consistency in line with approved quality control protocols and targets.
- Assist operations in controlling expenditures to meet set targets and maintain a cost-competitive product.
- Establish systems to ensure risk assessments are conducted prior to all work activities.
- Ensure action items raised during audits and inspections are implemented according to agreed action plans.
- Drive quality assurance and process optimization to ensure products meet standards on the first attempt.
- Develop and maintain quality plans for all manufactured products.
- Research and evaluate new potential products and alternative cost-effective raw materials.
- Analyze quality and process trends for continuous improvement.
- Oversee product quality management systems, parameters, and quality control tests.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in the cement manufacturing or mining industry is an added advantage.
