We cannot abuse this chance since our problems will not go away. April 27th is a significant day for both young people and adults alike.
Today marks the last day that Mbuya Nehanda and Sekuru Kaguvi will be seen in person since on the 28th, the day we will be commemorating Mutimbanyoka’s victory, they were decapitated along Tongogara Street following their execution sentence.
The second liberation struggle in Chinhoyi began on the 28th, the day we should be celebrating our triumph.
Therefore, the dates 27 and 28 are important ones in reference to the upcoming by-election that we are excited about. We must never forget Zimbabwe’s origins.
