Harare | After reportedly drugging their maid and forcing her into a mjolo three-some, a WATERFALLS couple is accused of rape.
Before Harare magistrate Letwin Rwodzi, Allen Mangoro and Letwin Mabhena arrived and entered a not-guilty plea.
The couple filed a request for discharge, and prosecutor Ethel Mahachi ended her investigation. The motion will be decided on Thursday.
The 24-year-old plaintiff got a position as a maid for the couple through her sister, the court was informed.
She travelled from Gokwe to Harare, where Mangoro greeted her at Roadport.
Mangoro brought her to his residence in Waterfalls where he presented his wife Mabhena to the maid.
Mabhena allegedly then drugged the maid using a certain drink and she started feeling dizzy. Mangoro then went into the room and stripped the maid, in his wife’s presence.
When the maid asked what they were doing to her, she was told that was what the couple did to enjoy themselves.
Mangoro threatened to kill the maid if she refused to comply.
Mabhena allegedly cheered on as her husband raped the maid.
