Tentanda Via Award: 15 awards
Global Leader of Tomorrow Award: 2 awards
Scholarship Value:
President’s International Scholarship of Excellence: $180,000 ($45,000 per year for 4 years)
Tentanda Via Award: $120,000 ($30,000 per year for 4 years)
Global Leader of Tomorrow Award: $80,000 ($20,000 per year for 4 years)

All scholarships are renewable for up to three years of full-time undergraduate study, provided the recipient maintains high academic standards each year.
Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for these scholarships, you must:
Be an international student requiring a Study Permit to study in Canada.
Apply for an undergraduate program at York University starting in Fall 2025.
Be a recent high school graduate (within two years) with no prior university or college studies (not applicable to the Tentanda Via Award).
Have an outstanding academic record with a minimum “A” average or equivalent.
Demonstrate leadership through community service or achievements in arts, sports, or other individual pursuits.
Upload a letter of recommendation or other relevant documents.
Ensure all required documents are marked as “Received” in the York application system (MyFile) by February 15, 2025, 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Complete and submit the online International Student Scholarship Application by February 15, 2025, 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
Application Instructions:
The application period for the Fall/Winter 2025-2026 scholarships will begin on November 1, 2024. To apply, you must first apply for admission to York University for Fall 2025. After receiving your 9-digit York reference number (within 5 business days of applying), complete the International Student Scholarship & Award Application form online. Submit your application for admission well before the scholarship deadline of February 15, 2025.
