ZESA Goes On Maintenance Mode: You Won’t Be Able to Buy Tokens on These Days

ZESA Deploys Officers To Replace Post Paid Meters With Prepaid Meters

ZESA Holdings, through its subsidiary the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), has alerted customers that they will not be able to purchase electricity tokens.

In a statement issued on Friday evening, ZETDC announced that the prepaid electricity vending system would be undergoing scheduled maintenance for 13 hours. This maintenance will begin on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 5:00 PM and conclude on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025, at 6:00 AM.

To avoid inconvenience, ZETDC urged customers to buy enough tokens in advance to cover their electricity needs during this period.

Notice On Scheduled Maintenance On The Prepaid Electricity Vending System

ZETDC would like to advise its valued customers nationwide on the unavailability of the prepaid electricity token purchase system from Tuesday 31 December 2024 at 1700 hours to Wednesday 1 January 2025 at 0600 hours. This is to allow for the annual system maintenance on the prepaid vending system.
