“The children were on their way home from school when they decided to play at the nearby dam. One child got stuck in the mud and started to drown, prompting the second child to attempt a rescue. Meanwhile, the third child ran to nearby shops to alert villagers. When they returned, they found that both had already drowned.”
The only belongings visible were their satchels and other personal items. Villagers conducted a search and ultimately recovered the bodies of the two children, who have since been buried. The boys were neighbors. Zhombe Mission Dam
