Zimbo Storo Brings Affordable Organic Products to Zimbabwe’s Health-Conscious Consumers

Zimbabwe’s health and wellness sector is undergoing a significant shift with the launch of Zimbo Storo, an online platform designed to provide organic health products to both local and international customers. Founded by entrepreneur David Dzumbira, Zimbo Storo aims to make organic products more affordable and accessible, especially for individuals battling chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cancer.

Historically, the high cost of organic products has limited access for many Zimbabweans, particularly those with chronic health issues. Dzumbira emphasized the company’s mission to offer holistic health solutions without burdening customers financially. “We are committed to promoting health and well-being by ensuring that everyone can access organic products, regardless of their financial situation,” he said.

Zimbo Storo’s product range includes locally sourced and imported organic dried vegetables, along with dietary supplements tailored to specific health needs. The platform also offers workshops, webinars, and educational forums aimed at raising awareness about the benefits of organic living, in partnership with healthcare organizations to extend its reach.

By sourcing products from Zimbabwe’s agricultural heartlands, including Vumba in Manicaland and Mbare Musika in Harare, Zimbo Storo also supports local farmers and small-scale producers, creating steady income opportunities and contributing to the local economy.

The platform adheres to international food safety standards, ensuring the quality and competitiveness of its offerings. Products are packaged with clear nutritional information and certified organic labels, which could open doors to export opportunities.

Zimbo Storo uses a variety of marketing strategies to increase its presence, including educational workshops on nutrition and disease prevention, social media influencer partnerships, and participation in trade shows and product demonstrations. Corporate partnerships also enable the company to promote wellness programs in the workplace and fulfill corporate social responsibility objectives.
