Bulawayo, Zimbabwe – The greens of Zimbabwe recently witnessed a vibrant display of emerging talent at the 2026 President’s Cup Juniors Tournament. Organized with the participation of approximately 40 junior golfers from the Matabeleland Junior Golfers Association, the tournament was more than just a competition; it was a testament to the grassroots development efforts within Zimbabwean golf. Blessmore Gandawa, President of the Zimbabwe Golf Association (ZGA), articulated the long-term vision behind such initiatives.

“This tournament is pivotal for the growth of golf in our nation. Our sustained support for these junior athletes is an investment towards seeing them represent Zimbabwe on international stages,” Gandawa remarked, highlighting the ZGA’s dedication to nurturing national talent.
