HARARE — It was a union of faith, fortune and family as Rejoice Makandiwa, daughter of prominent United Family International Church (UFIC) founder Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa Rejoice officially tied the knot with her partner, Ropafadzo Kwaramba, in an exclusive ceremony on Saturday.
The high-profile yet fiercely guarded wedding took place at the sleek Peach Boutique Hotel in Gletwyn Park, unfolding behind closed doors to shield the family from the usual public fanfare.

Despite tight security and a guest list restricted to close family and trusted friends, a constellation of prominent figures turned out to honor the young couple.
Among the notable guests were the couple’s spiritual parents, Prophet Victor Kusi Boateng and his wife, alongside Prophet Uebert Angel.
High-level representation was also present from the corridors of power, with emissaries sent by senior government officials including Minister Daniel Garwe turning out to offer their blessings and cash gifts.
According to impeccable sources close to the event, the newlyweds were showered with an astonishing fortune. Gifts from family, dignitaries, and well-wishers reportedly surpassed a staggering US$10 million in combined cash and high-value property.
”The gifts were in excess of USD$10 million in cash and kind, and the young couple was elated and blessed,” revealed one of multiple sources close to the proceedings.
Whispers from the inner circle indicate that Prophet Makandiwa and pulled out all the stops for his daughter, gifting the newlyweds an upmarket residence alongside a hefty cash purse.
Meanwhile, the groom’s family did not hold back either, reportedly splashing over a million dollars in cash and assets, which notably included a massive herd of cattle, a traditional nod to heritage amidst the modern luxury.
