The much-anticipated event, organized by Mashwede Holdings, promises an exceptional mix of talent, blending both South African and Zimbabwean artists in a show titled “Scorpion Kings.” Local favorites, including vocal powerhouse Tammy Moyo, hip-hop sensation Holy 10, and dancehall star Master H, will join Kabza and Maphorisa, creating a dynamic lineup that celebrates the region’s rich musical diversity.
Additional acts like MC Tatts, Ryan Synth, Rax The DJ, Ironiq, and Luckie D are set to add to the genre-crossing excitement, ensuring the night is a vibrant celebration of Southern African music.
An event organizer expressed enthusiasm, saying, “This isn’t just a show—it’s a celebration of music and culture in Southern Africa. Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa are here to make history, and Zimbabwe’s own stars will keep the energy alive all night.”
With a history of sold-out shows, Kabza and Maphorisa’s return to the stage has generated immense excitement among fans.
Known for their seamless blending of afrobeat grooves with amapiano’s soulful basslines, the duo is expected to deliver a performance filled with deep-house hits and dance anthems, ensuring the crowd is captivated from start to finish.
“This is more than just music; it’s about uniting people through culture and rhythm,” said the organizer. “Fans from across Harare and beyond are excited, and we’re confident this will be one of the city’s most unforgettable nights.”
The Hippodrome, with its spacious venue and impressive sound and lighting setup, is set to amplify the experience. Special visual effects are planned to elevate the concert’s immersive vibe, giving fans a chance to fully embrace the magic of amapiano music live.
With sponsorship from Chicken Inn, Innbucks, Booties Pharmacies, and Medix, ticket sales are moving swiftly, with both VIP and general admission sections expected to sell out well before the event.
As the organizer put it, “If you love music and dancing, there’s only one place to be this weekend—Hippodrome. Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, and Zimbabwe’s best are about to create a night that Harare will remember for years.”
