It seems that strength and confidence run deep in the Knowles family.
On Friday, December 27, Tina Knowles shared a post from a social media user that read, “No matter how undeniably talented you are, people will always, ALWAYS, always have some negative things to say.”
Tina, 70, resonated with the message, which came after her daughter Beyoncé’s halftime performance on Christmas Day at the Houston Texans-Baltimore Ravens game.
“Exactly how I feel! It’s mind-blowing to think someone would spend their precious Christmas Day watching a performance by someone they dislike and don’t believe is talented, only to talk badly about it afterward,” Tina wrote in her Instagram post.
She went on to criticize the trolls, pointing out the irony of watching a performance they supposedly hated.
“Clearly, you’re so obsessed, addicted, and secretly admire them, wishing you could be them, that you can’t help but watch, critique, and post ridiculous comments that make you look foolish!” Tina added.

Tina suggested that instead of focusing on negativity, haters should find something else to watch, like “goofy cartoons or Bozo the clown.”
Reflecting on the lessons she’s learned from her daughter’s resilience, Tina quoted Isaiah 54:7: “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.” She added, “I’ve learned so much from her warrior spirit—when they go low, I work harder.”
Beyoncé’s much-anticipated Christmas Day performance in her hometown of Houston on December 25, earned the title “Beyoncé Bowl.” The Grammy-winning artist wowed the audience, opening the show in a white-feathered gown and cowboy hat, accessorized with a bold red, white, and blue “Cowboy Carter” sash.
The performance also featured guest artists, including Shaboozey, who contributed to Beyoncé’s song “SWEET ★ HONEY ★ BUCKIIN’,” and Post Malone, who performed “LEVII’S JEANS.” Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy, even joined her onstage for a special duet of “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
On December 27, Netflix announced that Beyoncé’s 13-minute halftime performance, part of the platform’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday, is now available for streaming as “Beyoncé Bowl.”
