HARARE, ZIMBABWE | Northern Region Division One side Black Rhinos is still waiting for a response from the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) after filing a complaint alleging that two of their players, Everson Feremba and Malvern Mudzuka, were improperly registered by rivals Mwos FC without their consent.
The complaint adds to growing controversy surrounding Mwos FC, who are at the top of the Northern Region Division One table and have faced calls to be penalized for using ineligible players. Critics are demanding the deduction of points from Mwos for violating registration rules.
Mwos FC, currently vying for promotion to the Premier League alongside Harare City, Black Rhinos, and Scottland, has also been accused of benefiting from questionable refereeing decisions.

Rival clubs have expressed frustration over what they view as unfair treatment in favor of the Norton-based team.
Sources say ZIFA has yet to take action on the complaint, despite Black Rhinos’ insistence that Feremba and Mudzuka’s registration with Mwos was conducted without their permission.
Rhinos claim the players were not de-registered from their team, calling into question the legality of their participation in Mwos matches.
“We were never informed about the de-registration of these players, yet they are being fielded by Mwos,” Black Rhinos officials stated. The club has requested a hearing by a dispute resolution body to address the issue.
A football expert familiar with the situation described it as “an unprecedented scandal waiting to explode.”
“If Mwos is using illegally registered players, they should lose all the points from the matches in which those players featured. Since Rhinos filed a complaint, those players should not be allowed to play until the matter is resolved,” said the expert.
“We are turning football into a circus. It’s unacceptable and criminal. People invest heavily in their teams, and when the league is decided off the pitch, it becomes a serious issue.”
