Burkina Faso’s 37-year-old leader, Ibrahim Traoré, has revealed that his total net worth stands at $128,566.
He has chosen to maintain the salary he earned as a soldier, refusing any increase in his presidential pay.
Traoré has directed all government officials to declare their assets by Monday, March 24, 2025.
He emphasised that failure to comply would result in swift legal action.
