Chaos at Kelvin Corner Intersection As Multiple Vehicles Collide in Harrowing Accident

In the early hours of yesterday, a harrowing scene unfolded at the Kelvin Corner intersection in Harare as multiple vehicles, including a Trip Trans bus, a truck, a lorry, and a Mazda Demio, were involved in a devastating collision.

While the collision resulted in significant damage to all four vehicles, fortunately, there were no fatalities reported. However, several individuals sustained injuries and were promptly transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

Eyewitnesses at the scene recounted shocking details, indicating that the accident occurred when a Trip Trans bus allegedly disregarded a red traffic light and collided with the truck.

The reckless actions of the bus driver, who apparently ignored the traffic signal, posed a grave risk to both the passengers onboard and other innocent individuals sharing the road.

Despite the chaos and destruction that ensued, it is a stroke of luck that no lives were lost in the accident. The fact that all individuals involved escaped with non-life-threatening injuries is indeed a relief.
