Hopewell Chin’ono Investigative journalist has revealed the reasons behind former Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) president Nelson Chamisa’s departure from the party.
According to Chin’ono, Chamisa left CCC abruptly after realizing that some of his trusted allies, including party spokesperson Promise Mkwananzi, were collaborating with state operatives to undermine him.

Chin’ono’s statement sheds light on Chamisa’s decision to leave CCC, citing concerns about infiltration by state-controlled agents.
He emphasized that these revelations are based on factual information and invited Chamisa to refute them if they are untrue, although he believes Chamisa won’t challenge the accuracy of the information provided.
Chin’ono warned that any new initiative led by Chamisa could face similar compromises if individuals like Promise Mkwananzi remain involved.
