Controversial Zanu PF MP Scott Sakupwanya Implicated In Drug Peddling Scandal Involving a Relative

Harare | Serious allegations of a well-organized drug syndicate have surfaced against Zanu PF Mabvuku-Tafara Member of Parliament and President Mnangagwa’s associate, Scott Sakupwanya, and his relative Mavis, as this publication can authoritatively reveal.

According to the charges, Mavis acts as Scott’s go-between for drug trafficking and sales, which casts doubt on the gold dealer.

After a month-long research, we have determined that Mavis (Sakupwanya) works out of two bases: Raylton Sports Club and Cresta Oasis.

Concern raised by these assertions has led to a closer look at the relationships and activities around these notorious sites.

This magazine has been informed by many sources that Scott and his colleagues are patrons and sponsors of this purported drug gang.

Furthermore, it is said that Scott and Mavis’s father, Air Commodore Sakupwanya, provide her with protection.

She is shielded from powerful people like Scott and Air Commodore Sakupwanya.

Mavis adopted a combative demeanour when contacted for comment, neither confirming nor refuting the accusations.

She fiercely denied the allegations and sent the reporter a strong warning, threatening to take legal action.

She vowed, “I will not think twice about taking action against you.”

This development comes a week after the Zimbabwe Republic Police announced a list of top drug dealers, seemingly overlooking high-profile individuals, including newly elected Mbare councillor Dhama, who was once incarcerated.
